Unlocking a High-Potential Discovery Opportunity

Buxton Resources’ Centurion Project is an exciting exploration opportunity. Located in Western Australia’s Great Sandy Desert, this project presents a unique chance to uncover significant mineral wealth in an underexplored region.

Geophysical studies reveal a large, offset magnetic and gravity anomaly, a signature feature of IOCG mineralization. Drilling efforts so far at the project were halted before reaching the basement, leaving the source of these anomalies unexplained.

However, Buxton has been highly encouraged by strong pathfinder geochemistry and diverse lithic fragments in a loose sandstone at the end of hole in CN002DD, which could indicate close proximity to a mineralized basement source.

The basement high has since been re-interpreted post 2025 drilling based on updated magnetic and gravity inversions in conjunction with new seismic interpretation by the GSWA. Buxton Resources aims to complete this exploration, potentially uncovering a major discovery.

Petrological and micro-XRF results are expected by mid-October.  The preparation of heavy mineral separates is also nearing completion; however, analysis may take several months to complete.

An MT survey (co-funded by the WA government) is also being planned to map the elevation of the basement interface.  The geophysical results, along with the pending assay and other analysis from CN002DD, will then inform future drill planning.

The sandstone at the base of CN002DD also has diverse lithic fragments indicative of mechanical dispersion from a proximal basement source.  Buxton's ongoing testwork on this material includes core petrology and micro-XRF and heavy mineral separate analysis. The heavy minerals may include metal bearing sulphides, and/or “indicator” minerals such as zircon, iron-oxides, garnets, monazite, spinels and apatite. More details this is provided in ASX

In May 2024, Buxton was awarded a WA Government Exploration Incentive Scheme grant to offset up to $220,000 of the cost of drilling the planned maiden drill hole at Centurion.

In July 2025, Buxton commenced its maiden drilling program at Centurion.  After CN001DD was abandoned at 404 metres depth due to collar instability, CN002DD was drilled as mud rotary to 558 metres depth, with diamond coring thereafter proceeding smoothly until loose sands were intersected around 805 metres depth. These sands caused that hole to be abandoned before it had reached the basement rocks, likely Proterozoic in age, which are the interpreted host of the magnetic and gravity anomalies that define the Centurion target.

Silver assays up-to 4.57 g/t from CN002DD partial leach assays at EOH

High silver is associated with elevated W, Mo, Re, Cu & Zn

Results highlight potential for nearby precious &/or base-metal deposits

Highly encouraging results have been returned from partial leach assaying (ALS Ionic Leach) of a suite of elements including Ag, W, Mo, Re, Cu and Zn which are distinctly anomalous compared to background material.  Comparison with total leach analysis (four-acid digest) indicates a chemical dispersion anomaly has been intersected by CN002DD.  These results highlight potential for precious &/or base-metal deposits with the very high silver levels indicating the source is likely nearby, potentially within hundreds of metres. More details on the pathfinder geochemistry work are provided in ASX

The Centurion Project stands out due to its huge "size of prize" potential that is supported by a compelling geological and structural setting:

Strong magnetic and gravity anomalies consistent with major IOCG deposits/skarns/sediment hosted Cu systems.

Situated in a well-structured geological region with promising exploration indicators.

Land access and heritage clearances are secured, allowing drilling to commence without delays.

The Centurion Project is a rare opportunity to invest in a frontier exploration play targeting one of the most valuable mineral deposit types in the world. With a strategic approach and strong geological indicators, Buxton Resources is well-positioned to deliver exploration success.
