The Lateron Project stands out as a compelling exploration prospect due to:

 A 7 km² area of remnantly magnetized mafic-ultramafic intrusions, indicating potential mineralization.

 A 1982 uranium exploration drill hole intersected sulphide-bearing intrusions, but assays were never reported or followed up.

 Situated just 10 km east of Billiluna and 150 km south of Halls Creek, with nearby roads providing easy access.

 A systematic approach combining geophysics and drilling will provide a clearer picture of the project’s potential.

Previous drilling efforts identified promising lithologies and alteration styles consistent with copper-gold mineralization. 

Geophysical surveys, including airborne magnetics and gravity data, further support the potential for a mineralized system.
